Verification Policy

What "Verified" means

A Verified badge on ParcharPay means that a Parcharak has:

• Completed identity verification through our regulated payment partner (Stripe);
• Completed payment onboarding required to receive funds; and
• Been reviewed by a ParcharPay admin against our published policies.

What "Verified" does NOT mean

A Verified badge is not a warranty by ParcharPay of any of the following:

• Spiritual authority, religious rank, ordination, or theological correctness.
• Endorsement by any Gurdwara, Jatha, Sant Samaj, or religious body.
• Tax-deductible status. Contributions are not tax-deductible unless the recipient is separately endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) or equivalent, and they issue a valid tax receipt.
• A guarantee of how the recipient will use funds.
• A guarantee that the recipient will accept, attend, or perform any requested seva or event.

Ongoing review

Verification is not permanent. ParcharPay may revoke, suspend, or downgrade a Verified badge at any time — including in response to policy violations, complaints, fraud signals, sanctions matches, or a recipient's failure to maintain Stripe eligibility. Sangat are encouraged to make their own enquiries before contributing.
