Safety on ParcharPay
A few simple checks keep your Bheta safe and out of the wrong hands.
How to spot a genuine ParcharPay QR
- The QR always opens a page on parcharpay.org. Never trust QR codes that redirect elsewhere.
- The profile page shows a Verified badge and the recipient's display name.
- The bottom checkout bar reads Powered by ParcharPay and lists Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
- The page URL follows the pattern
parcharpay.org/p/<handle>.
Warning signs
- A QR that opens a website that is not parcharpay.org.
- Pressure to send funds outside the ParcharPay checkout ("just tap this UPI/PayID/bank link instead").
- A profile that copies the name or photo of a known Parcharak but shows a different handle.
- Requests for full-balance booking payment through a private link rather than the deposit flow.
- A sticker or printout placed on top of another QR code at an event.
If in doubt
Do not scan — search for the Parcharak by name on ParcharPay and confirm the handle matches. If you believe a QR code or profile is being misused, please report it.
Protecting your account
- Use a unique, strong password. Turn on two-step verification with your email provider.
- Never share your password, one-time codes, or Stripe verification links.
- ParcharPay staff will never ask for your card number, CVC, or bank password.
