Policy
Refunds & Disputes
1. Voluntary Bheta
Bheta are voluntary contributions and are generally final and non-refundable. If you contributed by mistake, please email the recipient Parcharak directly — refunds are at their discretion.
2. Duplicate payments
If you were charged more than once for the same intended contribution due to a technical error, contact contact@parcharpay.org within 30 days with your receipt. Confirmed duplicates will be refunded to the original payment method.
3. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, Stripe will handle the chargeback process. ParcharPay may share relevant evidence (transaction records, IP, consent logs) with Stripe and the card network. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in the associated account being suspended and reported to Stripe.
4. Booking cancellations
- Cancellations more than 7 days before the event: deposit refundable at the Parcharak's discretion.
- Cancellations 48 hours to 7 days before the event: up to 50% of the deposit may be retained by the Parcharak to cover time and travel commitments already made.
- Cancellations under 48 hours before the event: deposit is non-refundable.
- No-shows: deposit is non-refundable.
- If the Parcharak cancels, the full deposit is refunded to the Sangat.
The ParcharPay 2.49% facilitation fee on any refunded deposit is refunded together with the deposit.
5. How to request a review
